There are 5 units required for this qualification and 3 of these
units include the assessment units (which complies with VET
requirements if you are conducting assessments for accredited
courses) and two units in GMP.
WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS COURSE?
Experienced pharmaceutical industry employees who deliver training
and assessments for nationally endorsed units or qualifications
in conjunction with a registered training organisation. In the
workplace, a qualified GMP Trainer, will present GMP training
courses, or enrol the participant in the GMP Online training
program available from HealthStar Training Network. The GMP Trainer
then assists the participant, if necessary through the course.
Once the participant has completed the knowledge development
part of the course, the GMP Trainer conducts an assessment of
the participant in the workplace using an assessment document
package supplied by HealthStar Training Network. Alternatively
a workplace assessor from a registered training organisation,
on request, will visit the workplace and conduct an assessment
of the participant.
QUALIFICATION INFORMATION:
This course is delivered online (or by correspondence, CD-ROM/USB drive) plus
a two day pre-graduation seminar. You will need to have
access to a computer with a broadband Internet connection.
Regular webinars are conducted as required. You will also need to obtain a Skype account (it is free) in
order to contact your course trainer. Upon successful completion
of this course you will achieve a nationally accredited and
recognised statement of attainment in partial recognition of
the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This
statement will recognise the skills and knowledge you have
obtained.
Units to be completed and learning outcomes
This is a unique course for the pharmaceutical industry as
it combines the Advanced Certificate of Completion of Good Manufacturing
Practice and a course on Training in the Workplace, using the
training materials from the Advanced GMP course. On graduation,
GMP Trainers are fully equipped to deliver GMP training in the
workplace. The course materials includes a Trainer Guide, a Learner
Guide, which can be customized to the needs of the specific workplace
and a comprehensive presentation set covering all the Chapters
of the PIC/S, EU and Australian GMP Guidelines. To achieve the
statement of attainment you need to complete 5 units from the
TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. You will
also need to complete the Basic and Advanced units from the GMP
course developed by HealthStar Training Network.
